Homework Week

There's a lot happening this week, mainly centered around school and writing two papers of
about 800 words each, going to school on Labor Day, (since Cambridge requires a 20 day course),
and of course the usual: Waikiki, sun, rain, palm trees, surfers, our next door neighbor out on his
balcony stoned and rapping using the typical lexical set of hip hop slang while we study proper grammar!

The highlight of our week was going out dinner with Atsushi, our classmate from Japan, who teaches
English in Okinawa.We ate at the Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki with a short trip to happenin' Chinatown
for First Friday art crawl nite. The three of us walked home barefoot along the ocean in the moonlight,
feeling the cool silky sand of Waikiki between our toes.
